Here’s a quick one.

My favorite Claude habit, the one that gives me the most consistent and measurable results, is not a complex skill or a complex command inside CLAUDE.md, but a simple question (posted in a codeblock, to view in all its glory):

Are you sure?

When I ask Claude something complex and I don’t know the answer well enough to verify it myself, I just follow up with that. More often than not, Claude steps back with something like that: “Honestly, no. Let me reconsider.” And it comes back with a revised answer. So I ask again.

I keep asking, round by round, until it finally says: “Yes, I am sure.”

That’s the whole habit. No prompt engineering, no special formatting, no system instructions. Just a question that turns a confident-sounding first draft into an actually considered answer, one round at a time.
